The Misuse Of Spiritual Covering

Today we look at the the misuse of the concept of spiritual covering. In the book of Hebrews we see the many Christians who demonstrated exceptional faith in God. None of these people had a man who stood between them and God as a spiritual covering. This term and the concept is not found in the bible. We need to always examine beliefs and concepts that people try to place on us that are not biblical.

Leading Your Children To Spiritual Wisdom And Understanding

Join me as I talk with Adam Giles a local Youth Director. Adam tells how effective and rewarding it can be for teenagers to be involved in a youth group. Your church may not have  group but that doesn't mean that can't attend a group at another church. Your son or daughter may not yet have received Jesus as Lord. They can still attend and have fun meeting teens there age and learn about God at the same time. We sign our kids up for all types of activities. This activity is may help them grow in faith.

As parents, grandparents, and all those who have influence on young children; be prepared to answer their questions in a way that is sound and age appropriate. This helps transition them from a childhood faith to a mature, personal conviction. Defending our faith is not just for adults it also extends to all ages.
